Last of the classic dames

Within the last few weeks American film has lost two iconic glamazons, Elizabeth Taylor and Jane Russell. Writing a blog entry could not sum up the awe and impact these beautiful women have left on my life. I had never seen any women like them before. The beauty, poise, strength and courage was something that I had longed to harness as a mesmerized child. I've said this before, they don't make em' like that anymore. That's more than an observation it's a fact. Who else can claim to be bigger than Elizabeth Taylor? Don't worry, I'll wait.

Loving Yourself

I think in general we all have insecurities, and occasionally that can take over our whole lives. We spend more time thinking about what others think of us instead of how we see ourselves. Even though I will admit that to a certain extent what others think of us, and say about us will take a toll on our self esteem sometimes, but you have to remember that most of those people don't know who you are on the inside, and most of us are beautiful people. We just need to remind ourselves now and then.

Teeny Bopper Inside Me

I have to admit the I was too in love with the Jonas Brothers a couple of years back. As it always happens with teenage crazes, their popularity died down a little. In my opinion it was because they stayed on the Disney Channel, but last night I couldn't fall asleep so I was up surfing Youtube and I decided to look at old Jonas Brothers videos and I came across this one video that I use to love and it'd always make me laugh.

Madonna

Isn't she too cute : )
So today I was just thinking in my head, 'Do I believe in love?' and then Madonna popped into my head and I couldn't stop singing Express Yourself. This song is officially my anthem for today.
