All destroyed, only to rebuild.

"Everything you're doing now, every obstacle you're facing now is happening for your future. You are building your own culture, in time the meaning of this story will reveal itself. Until then, know that I'm very proud of you. I love watching you exceed every expectation." - Dad

"Maybe this year has been tough because you and your sisters have something greater to contribute to the world. Maybe that's why I had to move away, so God could prepare you for what's ahead. You are cut from a different cloth, a stronger cloth. I truly believe we'll all be together again one day, our family, our lives are being rebuilt."- Mom

Sometimes things fall apart in order to rebuild themselves. I think that's what the big guy upstairs is working on. If only I could fast forward.

a John Hughes film kind of love.

Say Anything
Say Anything

The definitive movie grand gesture just may be Lloyd Dobler hoisting a ghetto blaster over his head to play "In Your Eyes" for Diane Court. They're broken up, both in pain, and Peter Gabriel's song, the one they had first made love to, is looping for her benefit. It would be creepy if it wasn't so wonderful.

Every blue moon I go through phases of obsession. No lie, I'll become obsessed with crazy things. If you are a close friend of mine you'll know that my grocery list of obsession includes: feral children, Hollywood babylon, Jack the Ripper, The Black Dahlia, Sid & Nancy, Edgar Allan Poe, child serial killers,
Marilyn Monroe's death, Cleopatra, Heath Ledger etc..
I know, all so random and weird. I will literally overdose on all the facts and findings of something until there is no more to consume. Some of them are scary things, they FREAK me out. Oh yes, they scare my freakin' ovaries off but I'm fascinated with how things pan out, how these odd things can happen. Don't be scared of me because I researched killers. I don't dig them, but knowing how their mind works is pretty interesting. Oh come on, you all do it too! Everyone watches A & E, Snapped and all these other crime shows.
While listening to one of my favorite bands Nirvana, I got curious as to why people accuse Courtney Love of killing Kurt Cobain.

What began as a simple inquiry has become my latest obsession. I used to believe that people who ran with that theory were koo-koo bananas. After putting in the reading of the actual facts, I now may or may not be on that train too. There's too many gaps for me to continue to believe Kurt took his own life.
So if he didn't, like we were all told to believe for the last 18 years, who did?
Who really killed Kurt Cobain?

Now, I don't want to go into detail on my blog.
I definitely don't want that kind of zen juju here.
Twitter wouldn't even let me post a link to private investigator,Tom Grant's website on the case.
It kept telling me that that particular tweet was "forbidden".
Forbidden my ass.
If you're obsessive with conspiracies like me and believe that there are definite secrets out there, use your google machine.
Google Kurt Cobain's death read about the obvious evidential facts that were ignored.
The most interesting was definitely the suicide note which appears to be in 2 different handwritings.
Did I mention that the note was also about Kurt quitting music, not quitting life?
Even Kurt's grandfather, Leland Cobain believes that his son was murdered.
The case definitely needs to be re-opened, justice for Kurt is overdue.
Do the studying for yourself, true or not, it's a pretty good argument.

I want Steven Hyde to be my boyfriend

Why can't you be real Steven? Seriously why? We all want passionate traditionally handsome men..blah blah. I always seem to favor the badass awkwardly cute dude in the corner.
Steven Hyde personifies that description...and he's a Sagittarius ;)
I want to obsess and share conspiracy theories.
I want to pop a beer open and listen to Van Halen in Foreman's basement.

I want to wear his Led Zeppelin shirt to bed.
I want him to GIVE me his used Led Zeppelin shirt for my birthday.
I want to melt at his offbeat sweet moments:

“Steven, do you really think we’re a creepy unnatural couple?”“Come on, that’s a crazy question. I mean, if this relationship wasn’t just a little bit creepy and unnatural, I wouldn’t be in it.”
“Steven, do you really think we’re a creepy unnatural couple?”
Steven: “Come on, that’s a crazy question. I mean, if this relationship wasn’t just a little bit creepy and unnatural, I wouldn’t be in it."

(via rivetingtaleschap)
I want his sarcasm to outwit mine.
I want him to take the rap for my offenses.
I want to be the cutest lil' fro' couple on that side of Wisconsin.

I want to gawk in awe when he laughs.
But sadly, my life is not "That 70s Show".
And this is real life.

One day...

Okay I get it! I'm jealous enough as it is.

Twisted Rotation: Sum 41 "Does this look infected?"

The guitar riffs. The blazing rock n' roll attitude.
The sharp wit. Yes, all that with pop punk sprinkled on top.
For some reason, maybe it's the hellcat in me, I've been playing this album everyday.
Maybe it's all of the above things that make this album so magnetic to me.
Whatever it is, it's got me.
All I do in the car is play air guitar and air drums.
At work, I put my headphones in...and air guitar.
Sum 41's sophomore effort reeks of the idols and legends that influence them (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Beastie Boys, NOFX).
Some would say the album dims in commercial success in comparison to its elder, All Killer No Filler.
This may be true, but if you're really curious about the quality, I assure you it was amped up.
Does this look infected? is no doubt harder, edgier and darker.
Never would I have coined myself a Sum 41 fan (I know, I'm so late). That was until I gave a chance to their follow up albums.
If you crave more edge served with the pop punk our generation grew up with you'll eat this up.
Music has definitely been something I latch my feelings on to, especially in these times.
I'd definitely say my attitude these days is on the up and up, I'm just more fed up.
People could really spare me with their righteousness in justifying their heartless behavior.
I guess it's true, there really are stages to growth.
This just happens to be where I am, and this punch of rock n' roll exemplifies it all.
Here's my favorite song from the album, it means so much:
Over My Head (Better off dead)
